In response to the recent scammer on BootBay, we have implemented some changes.

• Ip addresses and activity are logged within a users activity log.
• All contact mails now state the users IP address that is sending the email.
• We have taken away the Pay option in MyBoot and decided to use the contact seller method. This will encourage more contact which in turn may help in identifying a possible scam.

We hope that these changes will create a safer enviroment on BootBay and whilst no site can be 100% free of scams, we will do our best to keep an eye.

February 2009 - Scammers

As with all sites these days, it seems that BootBay is not free from scammers. It appears that a user Jodie1311 has been taking money without intending to send out the goods. With this in mind, please read this with tips and information on scams that are occuring all over the internet.

We are assisting where we can to try and bring this user to justice and will update here when we can.

November 2008

"Where's me picture gone?" - due to space issues, we have had to delete all the old pictures. Unfortunately, there were too many to see if any were still active so you may find a picture has gone from your pitch.

To re-upload, just goto MyBoot>MyPitches and select the affected pitch. You can then upload a new photo.

Apologies for the inconvenience, but we only have a limited space and unless we charge, we can't get anymore!
