RATINGS EXPLAINED

The Web Team at BootBay have spent many hours talking into the night, about how we think we would like to see 'RATINGS' look on the site, and importantly to us the ease of use to both Seller and Buyer, not easy grant you! So, we did a little survey and our feedback from this was:
easy to use, noticeable to buyers, no typing out long sentences, not having to think of really nice things to say about a person you barely know, a little different please, fun and something colourful please!

Well that should be an easy enough brief we thought, so that is what we have done just for you all!

The idea of 'RATINGS' is to let the buyer/seller know if you are: 'really happy' or maybe 'mmm.. not bad' and finally 'really not happy'

To make it fun, bright and easy we have introduced a system whereby every user has the Smiley System, Pitch holder and Booter alike!

When you have completed a transaction, from within either MyBoot (buyer) or MyPitches (seller), just click Rate Seller/Buyer and then on the smiley that best describes how you feel about the sale.

Whether you are a buyer or seller your 'RATINGS' will be shown in MY BOOT and if you are a seller your ratings will also be on your PITCH VIEW details.

We hope that you find the Smiley System fun and easy to use. Think carefully before you click though as once you have chosen the 'Smiley' there is no going back.

If there is a situation where you have as a buyer /seller come across a bad buy/ sale and want to set a complaint against the person, you can do this by sending an email to webmaster@bootbay.co.uk where one of the team will look in to the matter further on your behalf, we will need as much information as possible, e.g. the persons name, item bought, Pitch Name etc. Hopefully though we will not come across this situation too much but obviously we want to know if you have a problem.
